Cub Scout (Webelos) Leader gift?
Our 10-year-old son is about to award the arrow of light, and he thought that he wanted his gift INSTITUTE. I want the gift to be personal, unique, useful and thoughtful. I do not want to do pictures (like a frame, guest book, etc.) or a standard desktop paperweight or Webelos Coin …. We have a boy who is always with him a copy of an Army Survival Handbook, which is very neat. We can it is not a knife, camping etc, because he is very much in the great outdoors, and has an abundance of supplies. I'm totally drawing a blank on this, please help! Unfortunately I have to say that he already received a photo collage to have. Any other ideas?
It was a T-shirt – either paint a design done with acrylic paints or it on the computer, and transfer paper to be ironed on T-shirt. He would like a stainless steel coffee mug – a type that could be used at home, for travel or for camping. Do they have specially engraved. You could get a folding chair, the kind that folds and fits into a pocket, and personalize it by hand painting or stenciling Text on it. Perhaps you have a do-it-yourself pottery in your town that you choose a piece of ceramic glaze and personalize the way you satisfy. They are there for you fire. There are all sorts of things you could do in a place like this – maybe a big bowl for enjoying his Trails End Popcorn in action!
